If you have to lose a tooth, or have lost teeth due to a trauma or illness, there are several ways to restore your smile. Let’s look at some of the tooth replacement options.

Tooth Replacement Option #1:
Dental Implants

Dental implants are an excellent way to permanently replace missing teeth. Through this procedure, fixtures are implanted into the jawbone to attach and support artificial teeth. Once they are in and you are healed, you likely will not be able to tell the difference between your natural teeth and the implanted teeth. We make all efforts to identically match the color and shape of your original teeth in order to make your smile look natural.

Tooth Replacement Option #2:
Implant-Supported Dentures/Bridges

When most or all of the teeth in a smile’s arch are lost, the patient has the option of installing two or four posts into the jawbone, as with dental implants, to which a full bridge or denture can be attached. This can provide a full set of teeth. This is a good option for those with a lot of tooth loss, as too many implants can put excessive stress on the jawbone.

Tooth Replacement Option #3:
Dental Bridges

A dental bridge requires that teeth adjacent to one or several lost teeth be filed down so that a custom-fitted bridge can be attached in a snap-on fashion to them. This is also a non-permanent solution, but provides a form-fitting, natural-looking set of teeth.

Tooth Replacement Option #4:
Dentures

When you have lost more than one tooth, dentures can offer a real-looking smile as a non-permanent fix. They do, however, require daily removal and overnight cleaning in an approved cleaning solution, and are often attached to the mouth with clips or a dental adhesive. Denture options include full or partial dentures.

As you can see, there are many options available for tooth replacements, ranging from permanent to non-permanent, in many price points.
