Office Policies
For the consideration of our staff and our patients, Advanced Family Dentistry implements the following Office Policies.
Office Hours
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed weekends
For emergencies after hours, please contact us at 703-309-9191
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your dental appointment, we ask that you provide us with 48 hours’ notice.
Late Arrival Policy
Please plan to arrive for your scheduled appointment 15 minutes early so we can update your records and have time to check you in properly. If you will be more than 15 minutes late, please contact us to see if your appointment is still available. We will try to accommodate late arrivals, but due to our busy schedule, may not be able to do so. We may ask that you reschedule your appointment.
No-Show Policy
Patients who do not show up for a scheduled appointment are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Appointments may be rescheduled.
Payment Policy
Payment is due when services are delivered. Flexible payment plans are available.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Sonny Kim for over 20 years. The practice is clean, well managed, and professional. I have trusted Dr. Kim with the dental needs of my entire family, including my two young children, and elderly mother. We have always been extremely satisfied with the services offered, as well as the ease of scheduling, and personalized attention given by Dr. Kim. We have always found Dr. Kim to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that our entire family’s dental health is utmost priority. We would never consider seeing any other practitioner for our dental needs so long as Dr. Kim is still in practice. His office is truly top-notch, and he is an exemplary individual in his profession!
